    Landlocked Laos nation in Southeast Asia occupying northwest portion of the Indochinese peninsula. It is located in middle of the two Indochina war and long isolated from rest of the world.

        This has a history dating back thousand years. This is said to be as one of the holy site where the caves are fully covered with Buddha images which are mostly made of wood. There are two caves to visit , the lower cave called Tham Ting and the upper cave called Tham Theung. Since it is situated 50 feet above theriver a torch is required to visit Tham Ting.
