                                                            The mesmerizing Dudhsagar Waterfalls are located approximately 60 kilometres away from Panjim. It is situated near Goa's border with Karnataka. This waterfall is 5th largest waterfall of India with a height of 310 metres (1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet). Dudhsagar means sea of milk; and the waterfall derives its name as it gushes down looking like milky white waters. This multi-tiered waterfall is located within the Bhagwan Mahavir Wild Life Sanctuary. Trekking to the falls, through the sanctuary is a most popular activity among travel enthuasticts. You can also hire a jeep from Castle Rock or the nearby village to reach the falls. The jeep drive from Castle Rock to Dudhsagar Falls costs approximately INR 400 per person.
