Chail Wildlife Sanctuary

Chail Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the outskirts of Chail that overlooks the Sutlej Valley. It is situated in the Himalayan ranges at a height of 7152 feet and sprawls over 110 sq km. It is one of the most well-maintained wildlife sanctuaries and has a rich collection of flora and fauna and has magnificent views.

Chail palace, is set in approximately 75 acres of land, was built in 1891. The palace is also known as Maharaja of Patiala palace. It is located at an elevation, and offers a spectacular view of Shimla. You can trek through the thick forest surrounding the palace.
The palace is now converted into a Premium Heritage Hotel.

Gurudwara sahib is a small Sikh shrine surrounded by lush greenery, which was built by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala in 1907.

Kali ka Tibba

Kali ka Tibba is a beautiful Kali temple located on top of a hill. This temple offer a breathtaking view of Shivalik and Choor Chandni peaks; and is also known for it beautiful sunset views. Chail has the highest cricket ground in the world, situated at an altitude of 2144 m. This ground is now maintained by the Army and civilians are not allowed to enter the ground. One can only look and walk around the area.
