Elephanta Caves are a network of sculpted caves located on Elephanta island, or Gharapuri. The rock cut architecture of the caves has been dated to between the 5th and 8th centuries.
To get to the Elephanta Caves, you will need to go to the Gateway of India. From Gateway of India, you need to take 60 minute ferry ride to reach these beutiful caves.
