    Hua Hin is a beach resort town. It is a popular weekend getaway for local people from Bangkok; as well as popular among tourists.

    Hua Hin is closely associated with the Thai royal family and is a quiet and relaxing seaside destination. As a result, it has countless lovely seaside houses, villas and a few attractive vintage summer palaces.

    Hua Hin's 5 km long beach itself is pretty, more so than Pattaya's, and the sea is relatively clean.
    Besides just sunbathing, snorkelling and swimming, visitors can also enjoy golf, spas, caves, peaks, waterfalls, shops, seafood and nearby national parks. The town is clean, warm and laid-back, making it ideal for families and couples.

                              A passenger-only ferry service, Hua Hin to Pattaya, began operation on 12 January 2017 and is operated by Royal Passenger Liner. By road, the Pattaya to Hua Hin journey takes five to six hours. The ferry shortens travel time to about two hours, subject to sea conditions.
                              The ferry cruises at 27 knots on the 113 km journey across the Gulf of Thailand with a maximum passenger capacity of 150 persons.
